Description
Beef ramen noodles are a quick, savory dinner made with ground beef, ramen bricks, and a punchy sauce—all in one skillet and under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
3 ramen noodle bricks (seasoning discarded)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce (or hoisin)
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Optional: broccoli, shredded carrots, bell peppers, sesame seeds
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and crushed red pepper. Cook 1 more minute.
3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Add to skillet.
4. Break ramen bricks in half and add to pan. Pour in water, cover and simmer 3–4 minutes.
5. Flip noodles halfway through to soften. Stir to combine with beef and sauce.
6. Add green onions and any optional veggies. Cook 2 more minutes uncovered.
7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or extra chili oil.
Notes
Use lean ground beef for a lighter version.
Low-sodium soy sauce helps control salt.
Add any quick-cooking vegetables for extra nutrients.
Leftovers keep in the fridge for 3 days.
